Disneyland 2012

This trip was a blast and dubbed the "Special family" by my mom. The trip started off with loading 5 adults two car seats, a wheel chair, a giant stroller with a ton of bags and a cpap machine into a suburban. Oh yes it was sung! With Grandma Dee getting car sick very easily she sat in front while Warren drove. Autumn and I had the two captain chairs in the center with a cooler in between us for snacks. My parents and Hunter sat in the bench in the back and where super snuggley i'm sure :) The drive was only about 6 hours but with a 7 month pregnant me and Grandma and her lasix we stopped a ton. We checked into the Hotel around 10pm and all crashed out in hopes of getting to the park early the nest morning. Only to find out it did not open until 10am on Thursday's.

Our Hotel had awesome hot breakfast every morning so we started everyday with full bellies and hot coco!  Another awesome feature was the shuttle that picked us up and dropped us off in front of our rooms and in front of Disneyland was amazing! Like i said before we were a "special family" with two huge strollers, 4 bags, 4 kids under 6, a wheel chair, an 80 year old, my parents, two preggers, Warren and Brian the "pack mules".   We were for sure a sight to be seen.

We spent a total of three days at the park. The first day was entirely California Adventure. Hunter had to go see what he called "matter town"! That kid sure was in heaven as he walked into Radiator Springs and saw Matter, Lightning Maqueen, and all the life size characters driving around the roads with him. He felt the magic!

We found out later that day that California was having record hi temps and it was 106 degrees and muggy. That just added a layer of fun init self as we found ways to cool off apart from getting completely naked.

With Having two wheel chairs (grandma dee and myself) we got to go to the front of almost every line and did not have to wait. The kids loved that!

(I was in a wheel chair because i would walk about thirty minutes and then i was light headed and dizzy and the pain in the back of my legs was so bad, 7 months pregnant and a theme park was not a great idea.)  My Mom pushed me for three days bless her soul! She is my hero. Thanks Mom!!

Day 2 and 3 we spent in Disneyland. Shopping, ridding rides, watching shows and eating awesome food. Oh how i love Disneyland! We will be going back but not until our youngest child is 48 inches. The looks on their faces when they are told they are too short to go on a ride is just so sad.

Jen at 12 weeks and Me at 30! um i'm HUGE! if only we could get a pick of all four of us sisters together that would be a hoot. This is the first and i am sure last time we will all be preggers at the same time.

that was short lived....

For some reason i remember my second trimester at least with Autumn to be one of energy and busy busy busy. This time around I felt great for about one month and now i just feel BIG....
The baby has dropped so low into my pelvis that it is hard to walk for more than 20 min. Standing or sitting for to long is painful.  I can only sleep on my back which they say cuts off blood flow to the baby. But if i lay on either side my body just gets tingly numb and i feel sick.  I am still hating the heat and have no desire to leave the house.
And now instead of accomplishing something when i have a minute or two of free time i look at the task and then go take a nap. So pretty much 28 weeks is my start of the count down to holding a baby in my arms and getting it out of ME!  I have grown a ton in 6 weeks which probably doesn't help my attitude with it being so hot.  I think i am the only one who thinks i'm "big" because every time someone sees me they comment on how tiny I am still. Um, i hope they are being nice because according to my measurements I am a far cry from wear i started. And my cravings for all things chocolate are not helping the scale and i be friends. I should really curb that habit.

The baby is very active and still transverse so all of my kicks and jabs are right in the bladder. (joy!) I am really hoping the baby flips to a head down position before it gets much bigger so the deliver is at least easy. But who am i kidding you can't make a baby do anything it does not want to so i guess i will just pray.

As for up coming fun we are planning a family trip to Disneyland this next week so i am hoping to get my mind off the every day and have some new surroundings. Even if i have to be pushed around in a wheel chair to keep up ;-)

It should be interesting with 4 kids, two preggers, two dad's, my parents, and Grandma Dee...oh if we only had a t.v crew to document this bunch. Although I am exited to see the kids enjoy the magic of the kingdom. I have so many great memories of going as a child i want them to experience it too.
