Autumn turns TWO!

She is a lovely, sweets loving, moody (good and bad) beautiful, talkative, fluffy dress wearing, dirt digging, bossy, hug giving, baby doll loving, 2 year old! So we had a Candy Party!!

I am just amazed how fast she is changing. I remember the night I had her. All the nurses were gone and my Husband fast asleep on the couch I held my chubby squishy sleeping baby girl in my arms and stared at those tiny toes and that little nose. I could help think how in LOVE i was with her! She was all mine! And now 2 years later i snuggle up to that sweet little girl and she is huge! I love that she is girly but with a ruff side. There is nothing like watching her help her daddy plant trees in the back yard covered in dirt but still rocking the pink tutu she demanded to wear that morning. I am savoring these moments while the last because if these last two years went by fast I can't imagine how fast 16 will come and i still see that little girl from the hospital room or the 2 year old covered in dirt in the back yard. Happy Birthday sweet baby girl. Mommy Loves you!

Christmas Day 2011

We woke up very late on Christmas morning. 9:30am is unheard of for a morning wake up around here but i sure appreciated it.  I was sick as a dog with no voice and a fever. Yippy!  NOT.... But all in all those two little cuties of mine made my day for sure! Their faces as they rounded the corner to the living room were priceless.

Hunter "OH my goodness, Santa brought us SOOOOOOOOO many presents!"

We didn't have the heart to tell him Santa only brought him one gift and Mom and Dad did the rest!

Autumn " oooh a bike" she climbed on with a huge smile on her face. Then the crying began because it was Hunter's bike and he wanted to ride it. But once we pried her hand from those darn handle bars she finally got to see the magnificent play kitchen Warren and I had been working on for weeks! Oh right (Santa brought that one...) It took us a good 3 hours to unwrap gifts. They wanted to play with each gift as they unwrapped it which was fine with me.

Warren chocked the heck out of me by getting me my JOTOTE! I am so in love! That is all the proof i need that that man listens when i talk. LOVE HIM!! He also went above and beyond and also got me a remote for my camera (Woohoo! i can finally be in pictures!) and a lovely smelling perfume. I tell you that man amazes me.

We cleaned up the wrapping paper that some how exploded all over the living room and then headed to my parents house for Christmas dinner. My sister Vanessa and here family drove all day and night for Houston, TX to surprise all of us and spend Christmas with the family. They are amazing!! I loved seeing them and the kids. My oldest sister Jenn drove her and her kids down from California once she heard Nessa was there. We had not all been together in a year. Family time is Awesome!

The Past year...

Were to begin?

It all started off with Our little Autumn bug turning one. She sure has progressed so fast and learned all her fancy "tricks" from Hunter. Such as climbing furniture, biting!( which only lasted a short while thank goodness) She surly has kept us on our toes guessing what she might do next. Autumn has started talking up a storm and loves to be the "boss" in the family. Cracks me up when she tries to "mommy" Hunter.

In March Warren and I celebrated 5 years together! Oh how I Love that man! We whisked our kids away on a fun filled weekend at the Grandparents so we could be alone. Much needed recouping time if you ask me. It was the first time we had ever left the kids overnight besides the night we were at the hospital having Autumn ( in my book that totally does not count). We ate at fancy restaurants, took in the sites at the Renascence festival, went to an actual movie theater and walked around some shops on Mill Ave. Nothing spectacular but it was a blast to be able to walk hand in hand and enjoy our time together. And not worry about nap schedule's and diaper bags, ect...

Hunter turned 3 in June! He was really into Thomas the train this year so his party was ALL Thomas. He loves anything with a trailer and/or hitch. Loves the slide at the park and can't wait till he can join a soccer team. He is full of fun facts and loves to tell you all about the cars he sees as we drive in the car. He also received what I'm sure will be the first set of many stitches to come.

Our big family trip this year was to the great state of Washington. Seattle to be specific. Warren's sister lives there and quit a few of My extended family members. We had an amazing time and enjoyed the amazing weather over the fourth of July. I would love to make that an annual thing!

We camped and had a few family off road trip as is got a bit cooler out. Those trips sure are family favorites.

For Halloween  we were a family of super heros! We had an awesome time dressing up and attending our ward trunk or treat as well as going around the neighborhood. Both of the kids quickly learned if they said "trick or treat" people would give them candy! They were thrilled to say the least.

Thanksgiving through January seemed like a blur......... between having two thanksgivings one with family at my house and one in Tucson I was burnt out for sure. But then out of no where came building projects and then Christmas! Which by the way my ENTIRE family was in town for which was a blast! I happened to have laryngitis so i was VERY quite. They called me squeaky because that was the only sound i made for a hole week. I joking say that Warren my have asked Santa for a quit Christmas so he put me on mute :) Ha!

We then had our favorite visitors from Colorado around new years eve Brian and Christy Robbins! We had fun hanging out with them and winding down after the Holidays.
