Almost there! We are all so excited to meet this little one. I sure am running out of room in this body of mine. I thought i was doing so well this time around. Having had my first two children at 38 this time i decided to prepare early. Last time not having my hospital bag ready or someone to watch hunter while we went to the hospital i figured i would prepare ahead this time around. I sent the kids to my parents house on Thursday night the night after i turned the "magic number". I packed my bag, the babies bag and installed the car seat. I figured there was no way that i was going to be caught off guard this time around. On Friday still nothing, so Warren and i decided to have a date night. We planned to go for a nice meal and then to see the new Bond movie Sky Fall. Which was awesome by the way. After dinner i started to get some strong contractions at about 7 minutes apart. figuring i still had a while if this was "it" we went ahead to the movie. As we got further into the movie the contractions went from 7 minutes apart to 5 minutes, to 3 minutes. at that point the movie ended and decided to swing by the house to grab the hospital bag and head over. Warren was pretty tired and asked to wait it out a bit so he could get a nap. "What"!!! but as the awesome wife i am i gave him two hours and then couldn't stand the pain anymore. After arriving at the hospital i was so excited that this was it!!! my cervix changed from a two to a three but after another hour of monitoring i had not changed to a 4 so that "lovely" (or evil) nurse gave me meds and a sleep aid and sent me home. Needless to say 5 hours later i woke up at home and the contractions were gone. BLAST!! SO i am still pregnant and the kids come home in the morning and the waiting game begins again. With i'm sure complete chaos to in sue. bring it on! i am so ready to snuggle this little one and finally lay on my tummy again. Here is hoping for contractions!!!
