New floors!!!

My oh my have i waited so long!! I am super excited that it is all done. I t was about a week long process and i don't know what I would have done with out my awesome friends who took my kids on and off the whole week. Special thanks to you all, you know who you are!

this is the play room. I did not get a before pic of the other rooms with out carpet.

this is the tile we picked! I love it! It has the look of wood that i wanted and the durability that warren wanted
(ah compromise)!

this is the dinning room going into the family room. here they have most of the tile put down with just the edge cuts left to do.

And here is an after!!!!! this is the front living room. I am still working on getting the film off the top of the tile after they put grout in. The only thing i have found that works is vinegar water. So if you know me you know i made warren do that because just the slightest smell of that stuff makes me gag....

What do you think?! I am so in love with  the way it turned out! Now all i need to do is pick out base boards and put them in. I am thinking 5" or 6" baseboards!

do you have "those" kinda days?

Let me start off by saying i love my kids and yes they are a huge blessing  in my life. But then you have way to many of one of "those" days and you start to doubt your ability to come back form it. Here is where my mothering whining begins so those of you who would like to skip to a more pleasant post go right ahead.

As Autumn has turned two I am starting to see a ton more team work in the disasters that occur around our home. There is no longer a he did she did rotation. It is now a team effort! Watch out mom here we come should be their new motto. For example the glorious lock on the pantry door that over the past 8 months has kept them out of countless timeouts has been concord by the 2 year old. WHAT?! Oh yes Autumn is the one to figure his sucker out. Now Hunter just asks her to open it for him when ever he pleases. Mostly when i am in the laundry room, on the phone or heaven help us when i have to pee... This has lead to numerous food disasters and bumps on their heads from canned food. I have found that Hunter's "terrible twos" came at age 3 along while Autumn's at 20 months. I feel like my house is nuts constantly!

Hunter will draw on the wall every time he gets mad. And before you ask, yes ALL of the writing utensils are kept locked away. I think he has a secrete pen making shop under his bed... ( side note, bless the soul who invented the magic eraser)!

Autumn can climb up anything and get anywhere that she knows she should not be. She loves to play in my make up, hair spay, lotions, soaps, her bum cream/powder. The list goes on....

The newest adventure was on Saturday. My sister can attest to this, Hunter started to light things on fire! Why could we not stop him you ask? HE LOCKED US OUT!!!! AHHHH! I am losing my mind along with the confidence in my mothering skills.

There are many nights the kids go to bed and i just want to cry. Am I alone in this? are there other mother's who have children that are wonderful and happy but FRIKKIN CRAZY too? I am truly starting to wonder. I could go on for pages and pages about the crazy things they have done but lets face it I can't sit here for days...

I love my kids but who am i kidding... i have no clue how to teach them to not be mischievousness. Any helpful tips or  kind uplifting words would be greatly appreciated. If your opinion is what an offal mother I am then lets just leave that to the old ladies at the store who so kindly feel the need to share.    thanks all  for listening.
