It is Finally over!!

Megan has had Gal bladder attacks since she was 5 months pregnant with Hunter. She had been to a GI and has had ultrasound after ultrasound. Things were just moving so slowly and her pain kept on intensifying. On Thursday night Megan had another one of her Gal bladder attacks. This one got so bad she decided enough was enough and we headed to the hospital. With in 10 minutes after arriving at the ER we were admitted to the Pre Op floor to prep for surgery. Megan was nervous about leaving Hunter so we had The Grandparents all come to the Hospital to help out. The operation went perfectly. It only took 35 minutes. Dr S. said it was the worst Gal Bladder he has ever seen on a patient as young as Megan. Huge gal stones packing the entire gal bladder. She is recovering quickly due to the operation being Laperscopic (small scopes through the belly button and three other incisions). We are all home now and trying to get sleep when Hunter sleeps. Warren's Mom will be here all week along with his sister Elisabeth to help take care of Hunter so Megan can recover. Thank you all for your love and prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear about the misery you endured, but thank goodness it's over! I've had several friends get their's removed after pregnancy. I had my appendix out during my pregnancy with Charla, so my doc joked my gall bladder would be out with the next.. maybe it'll happen with #4 :P

Megan, glad to hear you are going to be ok! I am so sorry for the pain you must have had to endure. It sounds horrible. Isn't it nice when you get the #1 spot at something? Too bad it was something so unrewarding. Loves to you and your family!!!

That is the saddest thing ever. I am just glad it is over. I really hope you heal quickly. If you need anything just call.
