After starting out our little family with a boy I bought very gender neutral things, so i thought. When I got out the infant seat to wash and make ready for the new baby I felt that it looked more Boy than neutral. Off to Joann's Fabrics I went in search of a solution. I stumbled across the cutest fabric in the world and decided to create a cover for the car seat. With no pattern mind you.

It took me about 4 hours to do. It was my first one so I was experimenting with ways to make a pattern. I think for my next one is will be much simpler and take less time. Super easy tho.
Good job with the sewing and with NO pattern! You are on your way to sew all kinds of things now with this little girl!!! Get ready...prom dresses won't be that far away.
OK, so you are an amazing seamstress! And the pattern is awesome. What a lucky lil' girl- I can't wait to see the cute outfits you'll be cranking out- sewing for girls is SO fun!
I must say i am so proud of your craftiness. It turned out lovely! I just love the brown polka dots, nice work!
Wholly MOLEY!!! You've gone girl crazy! You're obviously feeling better and ambitious. I'm impressed ; )
